ANEŽKA RUSEVOVÁ

Anežka Rusevová is a Prague- and Berlin-based actress working across film, television, and theatre.

She trained at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU) in Prague and at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, combining precision with a strong, grounded screen presence and an instinctive approach to performance.

She is drawn to characters who hold the center of the story — complex, self-possessed women who resist simplification. Her work balances strength with vulnerability, control with unpredictability.

She recently completed the German historical feature Block 10 (dir. Marcus O. Rosenmüller), set for release in 2026, and has appeared in international productions such as Avenue of the Giants (dir. Finn Taylor).

Alongside her international work, she continues to work in Czech film and television, including the feature Tancuj, Matyldo!, Cesta domů, and the short film Příspěvek na bydlení.

She performs regularly on leading Prague stages, including Studio DVA Theatre and Činoherní klub, maintaining a strong connection to theatre.

Fluent in Czech, German, English, and French, Anežka works internationally and is drawn to visually distinctive, psychologically driven storytelling.
